Jessica’s Journey to Georgetown
I remember my interview day at Georgetown very well. I had come from Vermont, where I had learned to appreciate a somewhat smaller and more personal work environment. Georgetown was my very first interview day and it set the standards for the whole season. I was impressed to see that residents not only knew each other, but were friends with each other. There was an atmosphere of camaraderie and genuine interest in each other, which I have not seen elsewhere. I learn best, when I feel appreciated, and I can handle long work hours when I spend them with people I like.
