About us

The Pediatrics Department research programs address complex, time-distributed interactions among genetic, biological, behavioral, and environmental influences on pre- and post-natal development.

We conduct basic, translational, clinical, community and policy research. This allows for the evaluation of clinical treatments and community interventions. We also foster interdisciplinary research training as well as policy development and analysis.
